The Higher Learning Commission was founded in 1895 as one of six regional institutional accreditors in the United States. It is the largest U.S. regional accreditor of degree-granting, post-secondary educational institutions, with over 1,000 member institutions in its 19-state region. We’ve been an active participant in the design layout for HLC’s Annual Conferences printed materials, logo designs, orientation and fact packets as well as establishing the HLC style guide.
